It would certainly be nice if we could control the weather, especially for important events like weddings. We have a contingency plan in place for rain or any kind of inclement weather. Your ceremony will be held in the reception space. Our cocktail hour is in another barn and the caterers and our staff will flip the reception barn to your floor plan.

Certainly, you are welcome to bring your own wine, beer, and liquor. All alcoholic beverages must be served by a bartender, and couples will also need to obtain a Virginia ABC one-day banquet beverage permit.

Yes, we allow couples to drop off most decor at your rehearsal.  Anything you bring in for your wedding must be taken home by the end of the night. If you are bringing your own alcohol, it can only be on site on the wedding day.

Yes, there is a ramp-up to the reception area and the cocktail lounge is on the first floor. We also have a golf cart to help any guests getting around the property.

Yes, we do have a generator. We also have a dozen battery-powered lanterns and a battery-powered sound system that can play a playlist through a Bluetooth connection.

We offer several locations for your ceremony. The first is at the pond with the peaceful sounds of birds and a view of the windmill and reception barn. The Second is the back lawn with three mountain views, we can also add horses in the riding ring. And finally our barn venue with the same tree mountain views.
